Mural bash purse is inspired by the union of two worlds of war and peace, they must each coexist to create the balance humanity needs, the base of the bag is covered inn leather as a protective base, then topped up with black sequence as the outer base and finish, the glass pieces are from the broken car windows I went to collect from the floor early in the morning after the incident,I stuck them on the bag with fabric glue and left to dry and stick for one to two days.

The calabash fruit is a home grown tree here in Ghana, when it bears fruit, it is a big green ball, I have not seen the finishing process of the calabash fruit but I do believe it is sawed into two, the green peeled off and left to dry, it is usually used as a drinking bowl, or a bowl to fetch water in.

I used two calabash bowls of the same size, joined together by hammering holes into it, which took nearly 2 hours to achieve then held then together by a flexible metal.

The inside of the bowl is covered in fine black velvet, and also the two sides to hold the purse together. It is finished by the addition of a heavy duty zipper for easy opening and closing.A chain handle from an XOXO waist belt is added to the bag as a bag handle.

Mural bash purse is organic yet luxury, it was made within an ethical framework, and can be used, for red carpet events, parties, club night etc. it is cost effective , delicate and handled with care, not to be overloaded , but just put in a few essential items such as your phone, wallet ,powder brush and lipstick.
